PAY IT FORWARD "RAK"

Just came across this idea while making some blog visits what a great idea and decided to give it a try. Here is the information
"Pay It Forward" is the idea of blessing someone with a random act of kindness without expecting anything in return. It’s passing on a kindness, hoping that your recipients will do the same, and forming a never-ending chain of goodwill. But it isn’t only kindness, it is also a means to connect and share instead of just keeping it to ourselves.

"I promise to send an original creation to the (1st) 5 people who leave a comment here. They must, in turn, post this on there blog, and send something they make to the 1st 5 people who comment on their status."

Here's what you need to do:
1. Leave a comment on this post. I will send a handmade gift to the first 5 commenter's.
2. Create a post on your blog offering the same.
3. Send a handmade item to your first 5 commenter's.
4. It must be sent to your 5 people sometime in 2011.
Please do not sign up unless you are fully committed to making your 5 items!
I decide to join the group and invite anyone in my blog circle to join me, would love to have you join me in this adventure.

PKS LFIF Challenge

Well today is the last day to submit for the PKS LFIF (Let's Face it Friday) Challenge. This will be my first LFIF entry. The challenge was to
THE CHALLENGE
Organize It!
Get organized with chore charts, to-do lists, storage ideas & more using your Peachy Keen Faces! Our faces come in a variety of sizes, which make them SO easy to customize anything in the same face. Or, show your child what a great job they did by using one of our fun little faces on a household chore chart. The sky is the limit!
Now I am not the best at organization so that in itself is a challenge But I have managed to get a little organized with my Cuttlebug folders ( otherwise I'd be tripping over them) and I decided to dress it up a little.
All the cuts except the banner piece were from the Cricut Everyday Cartridge. It has some really cute images and sayings I love the bug letters.  I am not too good in the stamping department and managed to smudge the face so I had to try and cover up the oops with inking. It is better in person. I thought of covering the box but decided to leave it My storage boxes are  white or brown.
All comments ( good and no so good ) are appreciated.
Thanks for stopping by. Big Blog Hugs!  Janet

The E2 Love affair.

I have much to catch up on and it will take a few posts. I am working tonight so I will cover the one easiest to do. My E2 arrived last Tuesday and i was so excited. I unpacked it and set her up for a trial run very simple. I then attempted to up date her was a bit of a challenge but accomplished it in a few hours. So here she is in all her glory:

Learning to maneuver around the mat didn't take much effort I only made one bad cut, not too shabby. I needed to make some Mother's day cards for family and my time was short.  I was able to make 7cards in the two days . i made doubles of some so as to save some time. I used the stored images on the E2 for one completely and parts of them for the rest. I cannot remember which cartridge the butterfly is from. The first was for my daughter and I used the "Just a Note " cartridge My mistake the label mat was from  "Lacy Labels"

The next two with butterflies I used the stored images "cricut Essentials" The butterfly I can't recall which cart it is from.I made four of these 2 each,

I also made another card for my youngest sis who was sad she didn't get one ( she has no children ) however she reminded me she has a cat so here it is

She had a black and white cat! Love it from the  Lite "Four Legged Friends " cart.
Hope you enjoy my tour more to come I Love this new machine.
Thanks for stopping by and any comments would be greatly appreciate. Later!!
