The image was cut from Cricut Alphabet on my E2 at 3.5 inches I used scraps from my enormous scrap pile to cut the 4 layers, I embossed the bottom half ogf the Kraft card stock layer ro resemble a sugar cone,  I printed the sentiment on my computer using
candy Randy font and colored each letter a different color to match the papers added a piece of brown ribbon and done.

The next day I chose to celebrate was Red Rose Day. I love roses and have several bushes in my yard.

For this card I cut everything except the large square red  and the square  floral mats from the CTMH Artist cartridge The card base was cut at (real Dial size) 10 x 5 inches from while card stock the red square at 4.5 x 4.5 inces and the floral at 4 x4 inches. the center mats were cut from the artist cartridge at 2.62 x 2.75 and 2.37 x2.49/ the rolled roses were also cut from the same cart at 2.5 inches. I used an ek success punch for the decorative strip. inked all the edges with a mossy green ink from MS Added a velvet ribbon  some green leaves I had in my stash of extra cuts from other projects Stickeled the roses with frosted lace and added a sentiment from My Creative Time "Bloom Where You Are Planted"

April Create a garden Bog Hop

I Double Dog Dare You

The group this month was Double Dog Dared to create a garden project since April Showers brings May Flowers whether it be a card, lay-out, with their creativity being the only limitations!!!!! We had several talented crafters that took that challenge for today's hop!!!!

From Lynne's stash, if you remark on each of the blogs, one lucky winner will receive flowers and buttons to add to their collection to create their own garden!!!!

For my project I created a 4 inch square mini album to hold pictures of my spring plantings!
The album was made with one 12x12 sheet of card stock and is an adaptation of the meandering mini book.
It  has two page pockets and 3 diagonal pockets. I will confess I am Embellishment challenged and am always afraid to over do so I under do. This cover was a real challenge for me I like it but it was nerve wracking to say the least! LOL

For the cover I used the Spring Cottage cartridge and cut the gate 3 times and stacked them for dimension and strength. the ferns were cut from the same cartridge The Roses were cut from the Art Philosophy cartridge art1.5 inches  The sentiment on the cover came from "Pink By Design" Artisan Tags set.

I used the Art Philosophy cartridge and the Mothers day Bouquet cartridges  to cut out all the the flower and leaf shapes

The Tags and the tiny butterflies were punched wit a couple Creative Memories punches and the tags were embossed with an assortment of embossing folder. All the patterned paper was from an SEI bundle I got for cheap at Tuesday Morning.

My printer ink is low yellow is empty so my photo prints look off.

While rummaging through my stash I came across this seed packet holder I made last year and thought I'd add it to my garden post. I can't remember what cartridge it came from will have to research that one.

Our list of talented, creative hoppers include:

Your next stop along the way is the very talented Kimberly

Thanks for stopping by today!!! Hopefully, the cold weather decides to finally go away and the spring follies begin!!!!!

Butterfly Blog Hop

Thank you for fluttering by today and seeing all the butterflies we have in this hop. These crafters have preformed butterfly magic again with their creations and I hope you enjoy looking at the beauty of these creations.

Jearise from http://lorbysworld.blogspot.com is our hostess today and she has a butterfly filled gift for one lucky visitor today so please make sure you begin at her blog to find out how to enter the drawing.

Here is my little bit of butterfly magic for today...

This a 5.5 inch square card The background print is a freebie I got from Mark Montano ( Black Plate Special He Crafts She Crafts with Mark Montano Butterflies) a few months back. The frame mat is from the art Philosophy cartridge circle 4 cut at 4.75 inches  and since I am horrible at trying to center point cut I cut it from an 11.5 piece of black card stock and then cut it down to 5.25 to fit my card and embossed  it with Divine Swirls folder. The colored Butterflies were inspired from a YouTube video by Brenda Bliss "Vellum Butterfly Tutorial part 3. Hers are much nicer than mine but for a first attempt ho too bad. I cut them with a sizzix framelits die and stamp set. then colored with my assortment of colored pencils. Added some white ribbon and a bow and done!

Thank you so much for joining us today and please flutter on to Lissa Marie.

For my second day I chose Draw a picture of a bird day and this is my crude attempt (LOL) at drawing a picture of an Owl One of my 2  favorite birds.

I also was trying to create a shape card for National Pretzel Day (One of my all time favorite foods) Well the shape card fizzled and I am left with the topper also cut from the Fast Food Cartridge.

Spring Bling-A-Ling Blog Hop

Welcome to the "Spring Bling Blog Hop" Our challenge was to create a card , layout or altered item with a spring theme and adding some bling. If you arrived here from Nadja"s Blog  you are on the right track. If you just happened upon my post and would like to start at the beginning then head on over to Suzanne's Blog .

For my project I started to make a card, then I thought as it was coming together it would be a cute "home decor  item and then I thought it would be a great cover for a mini album. Decisions, decisions, decisions!!!LOL. What do you think???

The background was cut from "Lovely Floral" and the hello  from "Lyrical Letters" Cricut cartridges. I edged all the pieces with Sharpie markers added some colored blig for the flower centers and popped the sentiment up with pop dots.It measures  approximately 5.5 inches square.

Here is the complete line up for the hop just in case you get lost along the way!

There is a nice prize awaiting one lucky hopper All you have to do is visit every blog along the way and leave a comment at every stop. Become a follower if you like but it isn't necessary.
