Pastel Layout

Today i finally completed a layout that I started last week. I is absolutely different from what I started with, the base paper and the pics ( of my fav subjects) are the same  all the other papers and cuts were not what I had envisioned. Go figure. I find pastels very difficult to work with. The base paper is from I have no clue just liked the butterfly patten. Thee pattern paper is from Creattive Memories and the pastel card stock is from my pile. I used Storybook to cut the title The green card stock under the title was embossed with a folder called checkerboard, wanted it to look like  basket weave. The other cuts were made with Gypsy wandering cartridge, Since I hate my handwriting I chose to print my journaling.

Hope you like it . All comments are greatly appreciated. Thanks for stopping by and looking around. Janet

A New Card For A Special Occassion

Good Sunday Evening all. Just finished a card for my grandsons baptism coming up in two weeks .

It's a 6X6 card Made with Colorbok White Textured CS The dark blue is The Paper Company Heritage pack The blue print is Colorboc Paper pack . The baptism cuts are from the Cricut lite Inspired heart cartridge The Cross was cut from Recollections Precious Metal pack in gold and cut from the Wedding/Marriage Solutions cart. I embossed the corners of the top white mat with the cuttle bug and the Victorian folder. The rest of the stuff is from my stash.
I'm going to submit it to the PKS Sketch Challenge # 47.

Layout Challenge

For this challenge at Serenity Scrappers I chose one of my favorite subjects. Can you guest what that is? I just love this picture of my grand kids. The paper is from Making Memories "hul-la-ba-loo" pack, I just love the bright and fun papers and thought they went well with the picture. I used a MS heart border punch for the green strip and a 1/2 in and 1/4 corner punches for the photo and mats and the title mat.The title frame and sentiment frames were cut with the cricut using the Heritage cart and the Essential Accents cart. After numerous attempts to cute the title with my cricut I gave up and printed it on the computer. The sentiment is from a Fiskar set called Family.
