Happy Halloween!!!

October 31st has arrived and the ghosts and goblins will be out tonight! Happy Haunting everyone.
In keeping with the Halloween festivities I am here to share a few projects I put together this past week.
First up is pop up card I designed using cricut design space, my inspiration was the pop ups I created in my last post.
This is the front of the card

 and this is the inside.

I used Cricut Design Space to create this card and the images are from "Charmed" "A Frightful Affair" and "Paper Trimmings".
My second project i created for my grandchildren Instead of candy I am giving them each a gift card to McDonald's I Know they will like that.

It is a design created by Debbie O'Neal

My final creation is a card I used a digital image which  from Lisa Peters.
I colored it with crayola colored pencils put some glossy accents on the brown areas, The sentiment is from CTMH stamp set , and used a candy corn embossing folder for the orange mat1

That's it for now. Have a great day!

BOO!!!

So here we are in the middle of October Halloween is just around the corner. I created five Halloween card for a swap I was in with some of my fabulous FB friends! All the cards have been mailed and i want to share them with you today.
I purchased the Artfull Sent cartridge from Melanie Litterell Brown as soon as it was released (I am so Addicted). It has a few really cute Halloween cards I just had to try,
First up is the Haunted house Pop up card.  Love this one and it is really easy to put together Made a few adjustments on the inside I wanted white ghosts and a yellow moon so i sandwiched an extra layer of white Card-stock between the black and orange layer and a small yellow circle behind the moon. There are no cover embellishments so I created some from my many other cartridges. I also Made envelopes  that go with them .

The second card is also a popup from the same cartridge This one was a bit more challenging to fold but I love how it looks. The front of the card was created from other Halloween cartridges I have. the sentiment inside is  from a stamp set by MY Creative Time

The last 3 I created myself using A Child's Year for this first one  I welded the witches image to the orange card stock after cutting out the circle I wanted it to look like the moon , put yellow glitter paper behind it then place the black cut out over the welded one and added a few bats. All the patterned papers are from my stash of scraps some are studio G from Walmart and American Craft All the card stock is Recollections from Michael's.

This one is using the spider from Create a Critter 2 The swirl frame is from Teresa Collins Chic and Scary and the Boo was stamped with Halloween Treats from Jaded Blossoms

My final card I printed the back ground paper from a digital pare I purchased from My Memories called Fabulous Fall haunted landscape cut the letters from a font on my computer called spook show and the trick or treat parade is from Autumn Celebrations Cartridge

That it for now Hope you enjoyed my cards! All comments are greatly appreciated.
Happy Halloween!!
Have a great day till next time!!

BOO to you!! Janet

Rewind and Restart!

Oh my!!! It has been almost 7 months since my last Blog post, Oh how quickly time flies these days. I retired 8 months ago :) thinking that I would have so much time to spend crafting and creating. Ha Ha Ha the jokes on me I seem to have less time now than before. I have done a few things but my goodness much less than I thought. I have decided to change that starting right now.

My friend Jen had twin boys this year and for her shower I created what follows.
First up is a card. Designed it with my cricut she is from Panama and so I used Spanish for the numbers 1 and 2.

Now I enjoy creating diaper cakes as shower gifts and since she had twin boys I created two slightly different cakes. The base of the first one is a family picture frame covered in a receiving blanket

The base of the second I made a French Memory board My friend loves puppies so that was my inspiration here.

My next thing was to use Square One Printable Iron on fabric to create the onesie's.

I then use Square One Printable sticky backed fabric to create the turtle and boat icons for the shoes.

Here is a close up of the Memory board  I love the fabric and the dogie brads were perfect. This is one of my favorite board that I have made.

Well that is about it for the moment I'm hoping that in the next few weeks I can get caught up with posting some of the projects I created over the last few months!

Thanks for stopping by and would love to hear what your thoughts are on my Creations!

Till next time, Big Blog Hugs,  Janet
