We have one fabulous line-up sharing with you today and wouldn't want you to miss a single stop as we are having some blog candy for one lucky winner! Lynne makes these beautiful inspirational crosses on her embroidery machine that will be made for the lucky winner in the color of their choice!

For my project I created 2 layouts, it would have been 3 but all the pics of my daughter and her dad are on slides The first layout is a pic of my dad with my brother and I. I was the oldest of 5 (1brother and 3 sisters)
I was daddies sole Little princess for 6 years Then my first sister came along and I had to share the spot lite.
I have many fond memories of my Dad   fishing trips, staying up half the night studying algebra, late night discussions of all sorts, gardening  and cooking!

My second layout is of my Gran daughter and her dad. She is the apple of his eye and she just loves to do the Father Daughter Dance with him. Now she is the only girl ( 2 brothers) so she will always be #1.
I love this photo of her and her dad

I used Story Book Creator from Creative Memories to create these layouts. I used digital kits from CM for the papers and embellishment. for both layouts.

Now, you've heard my story let me send you to the next chapter at Anita's so she can entertain you with her fab story and awesome project!

Coming Attractions to mark your calendar for -- have you ever cheered for the villains of the Disney movies - well, here's your chance to watch just the villains on June 23rd with The Disney Villains We Love to Hate Blog Hop beginning at http://slasewcraftiness.blogspot.com/

Scrapping with Lisa's Designs Queen of Her Craftroom Design Team

Welcome to Scrapping with Lisa's Designs Queen of Her Craft-room Design Team displaying Lisa's Swimming Suit Bear, http://www.scrappingwithlisadesigns.com/item_61/Swimming-Suit-Bear.htm, which is available in her store. Today,we are going to showcase her little swimming suit bear in a shaped card which will not only will show the versatility of this file as each member of the team is very creative with thinking outside just the cutting file but also the many different styles of cards which are available which we as crafters need to look outside the traditional "square" card!!

For my card I created a gate fold with a twist I wanted it to look like a beach cabana ( What do you think did i get it right). This would make a great invitation to a pool party I'm loving how it turned out!
The card measures 6 x 6 and I used a piece of Making Memories patterned card stock called "Spring"
I printed My Bathing beauty out on white card stock cut her by hand  Inked all the edged used ti bathing suit and hat pieces as a pattern to cut her suit from some fun paper Her little face is from Peachy Keen "Cute and Cuddly Faces Assortment" I believe I used the 1/2 in size used white gel pen on the eyes and red om the mouth and black on the nose. Added some tiny buttons and a flower I just received from a RAK.

Wouldn't want you to get burnt along with without sun tan lotion with our swimming suit bear! Here is the complete line-up.

Memories in Tyme "It's all about Summertime" Blog Hop

Memories In Tyme Blog Hop

  • Welcome to the Memories in Tyme blog hops - where you will find some seriously talented people who love to share their ideas with you! Our hop today and is anything relating to summertime - doesn’t matter if it is a layout, card, mini album, or decorating item, if it’s about summertime…it’ll be here!!! With summertime right around the corner - it’s all about the heat, sunshine, spending time outdoors, green grass, family, BBQ’s, parades…you get the idea!!!

Now, if you just happened upon my blog, then please go back to the beginning which is at Lynda’s blog (http://memoriesintyme.com/). Besides, the beginning is always the best anyway!!!

Let’s get started with the ideas - My project is a digital  8 x 8 layout of a family gathering for the 4th of July! When I was a child every year we had 2 family picnics The 4th of July and Labor Day I left home at 18 and after that they were sporadic at best. My Grandmother on my father's side was the driving force behind these and once she was unable to continue there was no one to fill the role.
Every now and again we try to do a mini one and it always brings back fond memories.

For this layout I used Creative Memories  Storybook Creator software and two of their digital Art Kits "Primary 4th of July Digital PP Additions"  and "Classic Patriotic Digital Embellishments"
I never thought I would say this, because I love paper but I have become a real big fan of digital scrapping

Blog candy from Memories in Tyme…One lucky winner for June will receive a goodie pack for scrapbooking - in order to get in on the drawing, make sure to:
    1. Be a follower of Lynda J's blog!
    2. For extra entries...follow Lynda J on Twitter and Facebook Fanpage - information is on Lynda's  blog!
    3. Please check out everyone's blogs and leave a comment on theirs...the more you do the more entries you will get!

Thank you for checking out my project, now follow the links below and remember to visit all the stops for MAXIMUM ideas and LOTS OF FUN!!! Next up on the hop is Rhonda, make sure you check out her fun project!!!

  • Welcome to Scrapping with Lisa's Designs

Today our design team will be featuring the newest cats file. A bunch of ornery cats all looking to get into some kind of mischief. But, then what cats don’t, right?

The team was asked to use the cats to create a card, that was more than just the traditional half fold card. I think you will like what the team has come up with this week.
    ...
The file we used can be found here, (http://www.scrappingwithlisadesigns.com/item_44/Cats.htm)

    Lynne ~ http://slasewcraftiness.blogspot.com/

First I must Thank Princess Kimberly for inviting the Queens team to play along and for her graciousness in including me when I was so very late with my project (nearly an hour) Three Cheers for  Princess Kimberly!
I chose to use the Siamese cat and mouse from the five cats in the file just love his face and the mouse is too cute.
I printed the Adobe file on half a sheet of  8.5 x 11 card stock and hand cut the pieces then inked them all in black ink and glued them together

The yellow mat is from a paper stack and measures 5 x 5 the brown torn edge piece and th circle patterned paper is from a project I did last year,
I decided to make this into an easel card I cut a piece of Kraft card stock at 5 x 11 folded in half and folded the top in half again to make the easel Mounted the kitty topper onto a 5.25 x5.25 piece of dark browm  card stock and glued it to the lower half of the folded card

For the inside I cut a 2.75 x 5.25 piece of brown card for the base layers a piece of the yellow mat and the pieces of the torn brow and patterned papers to match the front of the card used pop dots to allow it to  create a stop for the front of the card. For the sentiments I used a couple stamp set from Inkadinkado

I am your last stop along the way, hope you like my easel card and the so cute Kitty from Lisa's Kitty file.

Let Them Eat Cake

Welcome to June's project for Her Craft Kre8tions. Hope you enjoyed our hop .... and next month we have another challenge that will be presented to our Design Team .... "Like the Wind"!!!
So here is my completed Journal lots of pictures:

SST Happy Fathers Day Project

Welcome to Sweet Stamping Treats  Happy Father's Day  Project . Can you believe it is June already here and Father's Day is rapidly approaching ! SST's digi release for May  had 2 Father's day images to choose from. Last month I used the "Father's Day " digi so this month I am using the "Best Ever Dad" one.

I wanted to the image was front and center of the card so I printed it to fit the width of an 8.5 x11 piece of card stock, I colored it with crayola color pencils and inked around it with ski blue ink color. For the card base I used a 6 x 8.5 in piece  of Kraft card stock folded in half to make a 3 x8.5 card then cute 3 layers of card stock in red yellow and blue each one 1/8 of an inch smaller than the previous one layered then together and added  tiny red buttons with twine in each corner. For the Sentiment I used Pink By Design Stamp set
 "Artisan Tags"
I really like the overall look simple,  masculine yet cute.
