Hi Everyone! My name is Janet ,I’m 64 years young,. My husband and I have been married for 38 years and have one very beautiful daughter, 3 awesome grand kids a dog and a cat. I’m a Registered Nurse by profession and work in an Alzheimer and dementia unit. I’ve been crafting for as long as I can remember. I taught myself to knit at the age of 9 or 10 using pieces I broke off of a metal coat hanger. a small hank of yarn from my grandma’s stash of scraps and a how to book from the library. I sew, crochet, have painted Gold Pans when I lived in Alaska, and have done cards off and on with the computer for many years, My daughter introduced me to scrap booking the modern way, I enjoy it but I fuss over my pages a lot, she can complete 5 to my one easily. I have had a cricut for about 4 years and it sat in the box until last June I tried and failed miserably to cut out images ( wasted lots of paper) so I put it away. Last year I came across “Above Ruby Studios” blog where I found many video tutorials and she had compiled a paper cutting guide that was awesome
