Welcome to my Blog and the Summer Theme Blog Hop. We are holding this blog hop in celebration of Summer Vacation . This is my first time participating in a blog hop. I would like to thank my friend Giselle for inviting me and Rebecca for including me. Hope you enjoy my project.

You should have arrived here from Amber's Blog (http://pixiperfectcreations.blogspot.com/) if so you are on the right path, if not please click on the link http://scrapersdelight.blogspot.com/ to start at the beginning as we'd hate you to miss  any of the letters.

There are a total of 3 questions, giving all participants 3 chances to win 3 different prices.
Following the link from the last blog you must post your comment on our main Blog with your answers and a link back to your blog so we can contact the lucky winners. Sign up to the Scrappers Delight Group (
http://scrappersdelight.socialgo.com/) as we have many give always and monthly swaps and challenges going on throw out the year.

You can have a chance at winning the candy by following our blog hop and collecting the letters from the Scrapbooking Elements along the way. Once you have reached the last blog and collected all the letters, some blogs may have 2 scrapbook elements so make sure you check there blogs very careful, unscramble the letters to reveal a well known Summer Theme Song. If you wish to be entered into the Summer Theme Blog Hop Draw make sure you post your answers onto the main blog page at http://scrapersdelight.blogspot.com/

The hop will close on 8th July 2011 and the winners will be announced on 11th July 2011. We have some wonderful blog candy available for those who would like to play along We welcome international participation on this hop.

Now for my project. I chose to create a card using the Cricut Lite “Savory” cartridge. My inspiration came from the background pattern paper. It came from a stack called “Raspberry Cordial” . I just love the colors and the pattern.
.

To make this card I used Recollections Cream Card stock
Recollections textured Card stock for the red.
All the cuts were made from my stash which is a collection
of Lots of different papers.
The card is 5 ½ x 4 ¼
The red mat was cut at 5 ¼ x 4
The patterned mat is 5 x3 ¾
The Pitcher and glass were manipulated with my Gypsy
And cut just under 3 inches
I uses an EK success punch on the red strip
added a piece of fun ribbon from Michael’s Dollar bin .
The sentiment I found on the internet and printed it out
Using “Curls MT” font at 16 points onto a white mat cut with
the Lite “Lacy Labels “ cartridge at 2 ¾ x ¾
I did a little inking with memento chocolate and
studio G Raspberry, doodled a little with a black gel pen.

Now the really important part my piece of the puzzle is the letter “A”.

Don’t forget to visit all the blogs and collect the letters to so you can be eligible for the Blog Candy!

What a refreshing card! I love lemonade but it doesn't like me too much. All the citrus upsets my stomach for some reason. It sure is yummy on a hot summer day though, isn't it? TFS!
