Welcome to I Double Dog Dare You. Each month there is a Double Dog Dare to create a project. This month, is no exception and everyone has been asked to create a Halloween creation that not only depicts Halloween but is a 3-D object.... do you dare to even create???? Let's see how Halloween speaks in a 3-D version ...

For my project today, I created a treat box using the Happy Haunting's Cricut Cartridge.
The paper for the coffin box is from TPC Studios and has become a favorite .It is double sided card stock called Monster Mash Batty
IT was cut at 8.88 inches using my Gypsy to size it and create all the embellishment.
the coffin box is on page 72
The design piece on top of the box is on page 58 I cut it in black then hide all the inner cuts to cut a slid yellow backing piece.
'The bat is from page 48 cut at about 1 3/4 inches Dracula's silhouette was cut at about 1 inch in read and again in black just slightly larger to create the shadow
I added some black and red glitter and popped up the Dracula and the bat.
Wish I had some candy to put in the box but I haven't shopped for that yet!
I am going to send this treat box ( filled with some "Treats" )to one lucky person chosen by random.org from all the comments left on my site. So don't forget to comment!
I am the last stop on your Halloween 3-D creations tour !!!! Have a great Halloween and remember the most important words "Trick or Treat"
Thanks for stopping by. Hope you've enjoyed your haunting hop

I love making those coffin candy boxes and you did an amazing job.
Trick or Treat! I love the bat you did on your coffin. It grabbed my attention even more than the head. That is a really nice project, great job!
Love this project!!! I too have a coffin candy treat box setting on my craft table that I am working on. I had hoped to have it completed to add to my posting for this hop, but. . . I didn't quite get there.
