Readin', 'Ritin', and 'Rithmatic Her Craft Kre8tions Blog Hop

School days, school days
Dear old golden rule days
Readin' and 'ritin' and 'rithmetic
Taught to the tune of the hickory stick
You were my queen in calico
I was your bashful barefoot beau
And you wrote on my slate"I love you, so"
When we were a couple of kids

The three Rs, a widely used abbreviation for the basic elements of a primary school curriculum: reading, ’riting (writing), and ’rithmetic (arithmetic) which is what the theme is for this month's Her Craft Kre8tions challenge!

Each Design Team member has received a piece of chalkboard paper approximately 6 x 6-inches. Now, where the challenge lies, is Design Team member is to create a "school" type theme whether it be a class lesson or something that their beau or them could have written on their slate. We're going to see how creative this piece of chalkboard paper can be made into with their "School Lesson" of "readin', 'ritin' and 'rithmatic.

We have a great line-up of super creative talent along with our Design Team Page:

For my project I created another " Meandering Mini Album" I am including pictures of the inside pages hop you enjoy the tour!

Recipe
Cricut Lite Recess Cartridge for the layered cuts
Cut the Black chalk board paper into four 2 7/8 x 2 7/8 squares Used one on the cover and used chalk to write 2012.
The papers I used were from digital files from 2 sources Create with TLC August Club file and Digital Delites by Loubyloo. The ticket , bus, apple and other 'printed images' and title on the cover were also from the Create with TLC club.I also used some Sticko puffy stickers for embellishments. The pocket tags were punched with a Creative Memories Tag Punch. A few brads apiece of gingham ribbon and my project was complete.
There will be some super blog candy for one lucky winner that posts on each post along the way including the Design Team blog.

Thanks for visiting and hope you enjoyed my project!
Big Blog Hugs, Janet

Love your mini album. It is wonderful! Don't you love TLC. I sure do. Send her a photo of the page you made with her image and she will post it on her blog. Love all the detail you put into the album. I love that you used all the pretty papers and left places for photos and places for tags and things. Thanks for sharing. Edwina Brown
